While boating with friends on Lake Minnetonka, it all of a sudden got cloudy and chilly, and while the regular pestemals kept us dry and snug, we wanted a towel that was a bit heavier and bigger that could also be used as a blanket, which led to this thicker weave. It is pretty perfect for that boat ride now or to use as a blanket on a cool evening watching the sunset, ideally followed by making s'mores around a fire pit!
